Happy Valentine's Day!

Busy Week

Well, this week was busy and tearful. I started back to work on Tuesday. So, on Monday, Madelynn went to Auntie Sharma's for the morning as a practice day. She did great! Mom--not so good. After my meltdown, I left her there for about 3 hours and had to go back to see her. We went home and she helped me recover from my hysteria by doing laundry. (Above) She's watching me fold her laundry. Nevertheless, we got her clothes clean for our week ahead, as I cried all afternoon. Tuesday, Kheang took her to "school" while I cried off-and-on, all day, at work. She, of course, had another great day, but Mommy didn't. Daddy had a rough day too. They came home around 3ish.
Kheang got her ready for her first day, but I'm not sure she understood why she was up so early and getting ready without Mommy. I'm not sure either. Maybe soon we will get to spend more of our days together? Now that she sleeps about 12 hours (I know...don't hate us), I leave for work around 5:40 and get home about 8:00...so I kiss her goodbye and hello while she sleeps. At least I get to see her, even if she doesn't see me. We're getting ready for week two now. I don't think it will be much better, but we're trying really hard. At least, this weekend, we had lots of family time.This is our cousin, Jax, who came in from California for his first birthday. We celebrated with the whole family and had lots of fun. It was nice having everybody together. It's been a few years since we were able to do that. And now, look how sweet our family is with our little ones.
Also, this weekend, we took Maddie's 3 month photos...will let you know once we get them. Unfortunately, she wasn't as smiley as usual, but hopefully we got a few cute ones. You can watch the photographers blog for the pics.
