Big OWwie's

Not such a fun week. Madelynn had her first shots this week. We got a very good report. Madelynn has grown another 2 inches (22 3/4) and now she weigh's 11 lbs and 5.5 oz. This is Maddie and Daddy before the shots. Later that night Madelynn was showing us how big she is and sat in her jumperoo and bumbo chair. We still have some growing to do -- as you can see.

Then, a few days later, Mom and Dad tortured her and got her ears pierced. But she's got super cute ears now--actually they were really cute before too. It was pretty scary, but we recovered quickly and took a nap. Our friend, Laela, went with us, and both girls were so brave! Can you believe the Pediatrician recommended Claire's for ear piercing--well, they were very good with the babies and the cuckoo moms (and dad's).
